Zoe-perry
Perry has the father of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. Her first television roles were two times in the role of Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in the ABC sitcom Roseanne The character was portrayed by her mom. She was not allowed to start acting with her parents till she reached old age, due to the strain it might cause. Perry was shy throughout high school and wasn't a good actor. She began acting at Northwestern University to gain friends when she transferred from Boston University. After graduation Perry relocated to New York to search for acting opportunities on TV, landing small roles in series like Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought her back to California in search of theater work. Perry was a part of Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. In 2015 she performed alongside her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry played a part in 9 episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, Perry had a minor role on ABC's political thriller Scandal in which her father was the main character. In the same year, she was chosen to portray a younger model of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again as a younger counterpart to her mother's role. She was able to be cast in the part despite the close family connection to the character.
