Mary Marg Helgenberger is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was the 16th of November, 1958. In the early 1980s, she started her acting career and gained notoriety as Siobhan Ryan's character on the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. She is best known for her role as Catherine Willows in the CBS police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a television series that aired between 2000 and 2013, as well as Immortality which was a film for television made in 2015. Vegas is the sequel to her first film, and she's been reprising the part from 2022. Helgenberger is also well-known for playing K.C. Koloski is most well-known for her role in ABC's China Beach drama series (1988-91). She won an Emmy Award of 1990 as Outstanding Supporting Artist in an Series Drama. The actress has also been featured in the TV programs Under the Dome, Intelligence, and the movies Species (1996) Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). The oldest of four siblings. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Art History at Columbia University in 2007. In 2017, McCain was a part of The View as a daytime co-host. McCain's other endeavors include becoming a Daily Mail columnist after her period of three years on The View. McCain authored four books in addition including My Dad John McCain (2008), Dirty Sexy Politics (2010), America You Sexy Bitch A Love-Letter To Freedom in 2012 along with Michael Ian Black and Bad Republican 2022.
