Hallie Jackson is an American political reporter and analyst. She is currently the main White House correspondent for NBC News and an anchor for several news programs that air on MSNBC (cable segment of NBC ). Jackson was educated and raised in Pennsylvania. At her university, John Hopkins University, she earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science. Following her initial stint in a few cities across Maryland Delaware and Connecticut for the television stations WBOC and WFSB (affiliates of CBS ) Jackson joined Hearst Corporation and was a reporter for every one of their 26 stations across the country from Washington DC. In the following year, she joined NBC News (in 2014) and for a year she worked at the NBC station located in Los Angeles. Her reputation was established as a political correspondent for her exceptional reporting of the presidential election of 2016 and different elections. Her reputation is renowned for her hardworking, versatile journalist. One of her biggest assignments were exclusive interviews, as well as the coverage of Ted Cruz's presidential campaign. Through her entire career Julie Banderas has reported on several important issues like the hurricane Dennis the disappearance of the US college student Natalee Holloway as well as Terri Schiavo's court case. The award she won was the Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award in 2004 for her coverage of the Republican National Convention.
